The Gang Runs a 5k

This is a short film for a 5k "skirmish" in Hartford last Thursday. This wasn't your typical race as it involved steep inclines and stairs, but then again, we're not your typical runners as our training usually consists of a quick video game session followed by a round of beers. Honestly, going into this thing without any training wasn't as bad as it sounds. The 5k is the perfect distance for "wannabe" runners like myself to not train and still be able to make the finish line.
So we were pretty happy finishing somehwere in the 50 percentile, especially when watch the video and see where we started.

This is the film that was exhibited in a recent installation piece. It was all shot with the camera at a 90 degree angle and exhibited on a monitor that was vertical. All the music was composed by Destroy Babylon.

This is the rocko film...shot in 2006, edited in 2007...it's a creative approach to non-chronological documentary filmmaking.
