This 18-minute short documentary premiered in the nation’s capital at the
2014 GI Film Festival, documenting some of the toughest people you’ll find: military combative fighters.
This film follows two fighters on a path to meet in the finals. Jon Anderson, a two time Combatives Champion and Olympic alternate for the US Greco-Roman Wrestling team, seems to be the favorite until we meet Josh McLean, a young fighter proving to be a very difficult match for the veteran. Tim Kennedy, UFC star and Green Beret, narrates and offers insight into being a veteran as well as a professional mixed martial arts fighter.
You’ll be inspired, both by the manner in which these warriors fight, and the ethos that makes them challenge themselves each and every day. Most men train in order to fight in the cage in front of large crowds. For these men, fighting is merely training.
